Strengthening High School Athletics, One Family at a Time.
Empowering coaches, athletes, and the families who support them—because strong programs begin with strong foundations.
A Legacy of Leadership. A Commitment to Community.
Inspired by John K. and Judy Elder, we champion high school athletics by uplifting coaches, student-athletes, and the families who make success possible.
The John and Judy Elder Foundation was created to strengthen high school athletic programs by supporting the people at the heart of them—coaches, athletes, and families. Rooted in decades of involvement and leadership in athletics, our work continues the Elder family mission to build character, opportunity, and community through sport. John K. Elder, a Hall of Fame coach with the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association, and his wife and co-coach, Judy Elder, were a remarkable team both on and off the field.
Coaches: Elevating leaders who shape athletes’ lives
Athletes: Encouraging growth, resilience, and opportunity.
Families: Supporting the vital role families play in athletic success
